It was a hot, super bright morning for the Thompson family shoot, but that didn't stop this wonderful family from having a great time and a great session. The Thompson family is made up of Marcy, her husband Frank and their four beautiful children, three triplets and their oldest princess (who is the leader of the pack for sure!). Thanks for a great session Thompson family. Enjoy the sneak peek!

The Dunn Family- New Smyrna Beach, FL
This has become one of my favorite families to photograph! I met Catherine Dunn and her family last year while she was pregnant. She was my first pregnant woman to really get into the water for her session, and we had a great time (She is a dolphin trainer in the keys, so the ocean is nothing new to this mama). This year we appropriately ended the session with the whole crew in the ocean, and they loved every second. enjoy the sneak peek!

Jen and Pete Hit The big City!
So I just realized we never put anything personal in here. So we are going to change that. Beginning with this post: our trip to New York. After photographing a friend's wedding in Connecticut we hit the road to the big city to see our good friend and old college roomie Matt (who lives in Brooklyn). Matt showed us around for a couple days and we had a blast taking in the sites. I think we learned two very important things on this trip: 1.) If we can handle a 18 hour car ride together, completely exhausted, plus 4 days of staying in a Brooklyn apartment with NO AC, our friendship can handle anything. 2.) There's no place like home. But it's always great having friends in fun places to visit. This trip was planned pretty quickly so we didn't get a chance to make a list of the stops we wanted to make and sites we wanted to take in in the city. We have made said list for our next trip though (yes NYC, we will be back!) All in all though, the city that never sleeps definitely gave Pete and I a run for our money and I can see why New Yorkers love their state so much. And now, without any further adieu, some photos from our journey.
